How can we improve the way we teach when we can’t be physically there?

The design phase of the project will entail creating a culturally sensitive and effective first aid education program that meets the needs of refugees in the selected regions. Crucial activities for the design phase include curriculum development, training resources and materials, instructional strategies customized to refugee contexts, and plans for project evaluation. The planned ChatGPT video generator-based first aid program will be implemented through a collaborative learning ecosystem. The program will take a student-centered approach where learning materials and lectures are delivered online and facilitated by a refugee management team in the camps (Lovey et al., 2021). A customized avatar will deliver the program learning via the ChatGPT video generator. The use of an appropriate avatar will help address the “untrustworthiness” issues of the course being delivered in Asian and African countries by a “White.” The student will also be engaged in group work and discussions to acquire and develop new skills in first aid (Lovey et al., 2021). The onsite facilitators in the identified camps will provide technical support to learners to navigate the learning space. The refugee students will be the focal point as the learning process will support their optimal first-aid learning by meeting their educational needs (Lovey et al., 2021).
