Reliability in digital world- Know the importance of security in Edworld.

Why is it important to think about the reliability of the platforms being used while empowering one another? Why is it important to know the expertise level of educational technology coaches while running a robust administrative of schools? The answer is – to shield oneself from the diversions that not only lead to unprofessional learning strategies but also unverified instructional strategies.

Another predominant factor that plays a crucial role in determining the security on digital platforms is the cloud based storage that does not allow the user to store data in their devices, instead store huge amount of data in cloud storage. However, the data can be interchanged easily with other competitors in the market depending upon the requirement of the data fetching companies. Although it is very well mentioned in the terms and conditions of space provider enrollment process that the data can be shared with particular government agencies for security purpose. This is where the role of educational technologists come into existence. That state that educational technology leader or coach is not only responsible for empowering the educators and other leaders but also for making everyone’s aware of their digital presence and digital footprints as well.

Individual users create visual representations, personal narratives and storytelling as part of their digital footprints in
social networks and online communities.(Feher,Katalin- Digital Identity and the Online self. n.d.)

Module 2, that talks about Digital citizen Advocacy and require us to set ethical values in our journey to become the gamechangers. I have chosen the ISTE Standard 7d. Empower educators, leaders, and students to make informed decisions to protect their personal data and curate the digital profile they intend to reflect. (ISTE, n.d.) through which I ‘ll be popping up reliability on platforms and coaches in the digital world that eventually determine the security level of the digital natives and digital immigrants.

To develop on it, my foremost questions will be

1.How many virtual communities outreach programs or trainings have been done for educators to determine their safety during the COVID-19 pandemic?

2. Are there some perks or benefits given to the teachers who are continuously upgrading themselves?

3. How educators been able to manage their presence professionally and personally different during virtual classes?

4. What were the major challenges that have been addressed when the content has been made digital and are there some groups that have been benefitted from this?

After delving deeper into this research, I found that not only the solutions but also the approach needs to be tilted a bit. Apart from training educator and other leaders in the society, it needs to be started from learners. In this era of digital natives, it is the right of every child to be aware of their online rights and the right approach to get along with the technology. Moving on, sharing personal information is not as hazardous as we think until we are aware of the authenticity of the platforms. Let’s have a look at it this inspirational video that answers many questions.
